first_img   LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The No. 3 West Florida women’s soccer team will wrap up the regular season on the road at West Alabama Friday, Nov. 1, at 5 p.m.The Argonauts are on an eight-game winning streak and a 27-game unbeaten streak heading into the final game of the season. UWF clinched the top spot in the Gulf South Conference with a win over Christian Brothers Nov. 25.The GSC Tournament will be hosted by UWF Nov. 7-10 at Ashton Brosnaham Park in Pensacola. The GSC Quarterfinals will be Nov. 7, the semifinals will be Nov. 8 and the finals will be Nov. 10. The Argos are on a 27-match unbeaten streak heading into the weekend.During the streak, which started Oct. 12, 2012 with a 4-0 win over West Georgia, UWF has outscored opponents 73-10 and defeated seven top-25 teams. UWF tied two other top-25 teams during that span.The Argos have a .361 goals against average and 19 shutouts during the unbeaten streak. The GSC record is 29 set by CBU from 2002-2003.
