Fantasy Premier League tips: Get rid of these Arsenal and Man United players

first_img Out: Will Hughes (Watford) – £4.6m – Almost 55,000 people transferred Hughes in following his great performances against West Ham and Newcastle. However, he picked up a hamstring injury in Watford’s defeat to Man United, and he will miss Saturday’s match against Tottenham – and potentially a number of fixtures to come. In: Marvin Zeegelaar (Watford) – £4.4m – Zeegelaar is the complete opposite of McAuley, having been out the picture for the entire season only to burst into life in recent games. He has kept two clean sheets and registered two assists in his first three appearances for Watford, and will be hoping to add to that tally when the Hornets play a well below par Tottenham this weekend. Out: Mark Noble (West Ham) – £5.4m – Dropped entirely from West Ham’s team for their last two matches, it is clear Noble is not part of David Moyes’ plans. Get him out now or you are just wasting a space in your squad. 10 10 10 In: Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Manchester United) – £10m – This one is a like-for-like transfer. A lot of people have stayed away from selecting Ibrahimovic as of yet, but now is the time to get him into your team. Lukaku could be dropped to the bench soon given his dreadful form, and Ibrahimovic is waiting in the wings. 10 In: Marc Albrighton (Leicester City) – £5.5m – Albrighton has rediscovered his best form after a slow start to the season, with a goal and an assist in his last two appearances. He’s only costs £0.1m more than Noble, and will guarantee you more points. 10 10 It has been a hectic week for Fantasy Premier League managers. An entire round of midweek fixtures has ramped up the pressure, and forced people to tinker with their 15-man squads. And whether because of injury, suspension, or simply a loss of form, it is well worth getting some transfers in before the Premier League returns on Saturday. And talkSPORT are here to help with our top tips for gameweek 15!Click the right arrow above to see our Fantasy Premier League tips… In: Robbie Brady (Burnley) – £5.5m – Although you’d need to find an extra £0.9m in your budget to replace Hughes with Brady, it would be a worthwhile transfer. The Burnley man is in form with one goal and two assists in his last three appearances, and this weekend’s match against Leicester will prove a perfect opportunity for Brady to add to that tally. 10 Out: Alexandre Lacazette (Arsenal) – £10.3m – click the right arrow for more advice – Injury is set to keep Lacazette out for some time, and he is certain to miss Arsenal’s match against Manchester United this weekend. Get him out of your team sharpish! Out: Gareth McAuley (West Brom) – £4.7m – Usually a reliable points winner for Fantasy PL managers, McAuley has struggled this season. He has not even played a minute of football in West Brom’s last two matches, and with Alan Pardew set to play a more expansive brand of football, it is likely McAuley will stay on the sidelines. In: Olivier Giroud (Arsenal) – £8.2m – With Lacazette out of action, Arsene Wenger is sure to call upon Giroud, who netted twice against Huddersfield. Get him in your team now while he is still relatively cheap, allowing you to spend some of your remaining budget elsewhere. 10 Out: Romelu Lukaku (Manchester United) – £11.4m – With just one goal in his last seven Premier League appearances, Lukaku is one of the most out-of-form strikers in the league. More and more people are losing faith in him on a weekly basis, and his price has already dropped this week. Get him out your team now before his value goes even lower, especially with a game against Arsenal – who have kept three clean sheets in a row – next. 10 10last_img read more
