Minimum Education/Experience:Candidates for this position should have an earned doctorate inSpecial Education with primary specialization in learningdisabilities. Experience and research interest in readinginstruction, learning strategies, diversity issues in specialeducation and teacher education are preferred. Applicants shouldhave experience teaching diverse populations in K-12 specialeducation, and demonstrated potential for scholarly publication andsuccessful teaching at the university level. Candidates must hold ateaching license in learning disabilities or be eligible to receiveone.
